Participants will learn: Best Practices for IEP Writing pages 1-8; DESE Record Review Citations; DESE requirements for measurable goals that include a condition, targeted behavior and performance criteria with built in practice and feedback; and Overview of Standards-Based IEP goals. Participants are asked to bring a sample IEP that they have written, and the instructor will provide targeted feedback. In addition to Licensure Program participants, this workshop provides content that supports the work of Special Education Teachers currently working as Educational Team Leaders.
Includes 4 hours of pre-work to be completed prior to the synchronous session.
