Gen Z students are conditioned to “tap & swipe” for their information, motivation, and a sense of community. Designing and maintaining digital platforms which organize and distribute information to Gen Z music students has become a crucial element for 21st Century Teaching. Brooks’ presentation assists educators in navigating this challenge. Attendees will receive templates for website & curriculum development plus resources for digital audio & composition software.
The fundamental goal of this workshop is to save educators time & energy as they move forward in utilizing technology and to accelerate the production of their digital products.
Participants can earn 10 PDPs upon completing post-workshop facilitation. This includes a website for their curriculum or ensembles, a Youtube channel for their students, and/or self-publish sheet music arrangements. A certificate of attendance will be provided to those who don't complete a project.
Please note: Lunch will be provided. Please indicate any dietary restrictions when registering.
