The Educational Team Leader Community of Practice will meet via Zoom once each month for 90 minutes. We will have a regular "routine" for our sessions that will include the following:

  • Welcome and review of agenda (5 minutes)
  • Data collection from members regarding a question of practice. For example, I might ask: "How much time do you allocate when scheduling annual review meetings?" One question a month–every month I'll share the results from the previous month's question. (5 minutes)
  • Mini training on a point of regulation or practice (15 minutes)—cases,regs, guidance docs–I'll likely focus on DESE advisories/guidance, the Zirkel update from CASE, a leadership article, or a tool for identifying evidence-based practices.
  • Q&A about the topic for the mini-training (15 minutes)
  • Confidential Case Conferencing: With advanced sign up–up to three people per month 15 minutes each (45 minutes). 
  • Close with gratitude & feedback (5 minutes)

Registration

A maximum class size is set for each course and registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. If the number of registrations for a course exceeds the maximum seats available or is too low to be able to conduct a quality learning experience, CES will inform you of available options.

Course Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your registration, please submit a request in writing (via mail, email or fax) no later than 7 business days before the workshop’s start date. After that, there are no refunds or billing adjustments.

In the event that a course is cancelled by the Collaborative for Educational Services, we will notify you as soon as possible. Please be sure to provide your best email address and phone number so we can contact you. Although every effort is made to avoid last minute cancellations, if an emergency arises, we will do our best to reach you at the phone number and email address you provide.
