This online word study workshop will afford participants the opportunity to become familiar with the continuum of word study skills which form the foundation of reading. Participants will learn how to think about the sequence of lessons needed for mastery as well as the specific skills needed for nine different areas of word study learning. The workshop will include videos of best practice lessons as well as training on how to plan and deliver powerful word study lessons. Included in the training will be a list of resources that are essential for word study teaching.
Cost and Registration
This course is included in your CES Initial Licensure tuition cost if it is required for your program. If you are a Licensure Enrollee and your account is in good standing, please indicate your status when registering for the course.
This course may also be taken individually for professional development and/or license renewal.
