Jeff is an Instructional Technology Specialist at East Longmeadow High School and is a licensed History teacher. Jeff earned a Bachelor’s in History and Secondary Education from Providence College and a Master’s in History and Secondary Education from Westfield State University. Jeff completed a Master’s in Educational Technology from Framingham State University. Over the past fourteen years, Jeff has taught a variety of Social Studies courses at the middle and high school levels. His curriculum work includes US1, USII, World 1, World 2, Geography, Civics, Psychology, and AP Psychology. Jeff uses his classroom experience to make lessons accessible to a wide array of learners, using a variety of instructional technology methods. He strives to engage students in the social studies through primary document analysis and historical inquiry lab activities. He has delivered several professional development sessions for teachers including “Video Podcasting in the Social Studies Classroom” at the Blue Ribbon Schools Conference, and “Designing Engaging Assessments using Google Forms” within his own district.
