The new name was voted on by participants in Intimate Partner Abuse Education Programs as well as Advisory Board members, staff, and key stakeholders, with the majority of persons weighing in being Black, Indigenous, People Of Color community members and people who use the tools of abuse in their intimate partnerships. Same Mission, Same Purpose
A Call for Change Helpline is the nation’s first helpline for people who use the tools of abuse in intimate partnerships. A Call for Change Helpline is an anonymous, confidential phone line for individuals who use the tools of abuse in their intimate relationships. Responders are trained to facilitate compassionate dialogue to support the life-long accountability process of making safe and equitable choices in relationships. The helpline also welcomes calls from community members, service providers, and survivors who are seeking insight into navigating relationships with an individual who is harmful.
