On Monday, June 24, adult members of the SPIFFY Steering Committee joined with members of the newly-formed SPIFFY Youth Steering Committee for an evening retreat to discuss school mental health strategy. This was the first joint meeting between the two steering committees, and was a great opportunity for relationship building, strategizing, and learning. We wrapped up the retreat after identifying volunteers for a summer subcommittee on student mental health: the group will be considering feasibility, sustainability, and equity for various evidence-based strategies SPIFFY may move forward with supporting.
